Charterhouse 3D Media Baskets are designed to improve the existing filtration solutions provided as standard by the manufacturer.

Media Basket A

Media Basket A will hold the first media that water leaving your display will encounter. We advise that you utilize this basket for mechanical media.

For best results, we advise you to block the small hole in the rear chamber of your Evo aquarium with the provided plug. This can be glued, silicone or secured with putty.

Media Basket B

Media Basket B is designed to sit in the bottom section of chamber 1 in your Fluval Evo's rear filter chamber. Media Basket B has been designed to hold biological media, which will help improve and increase the surface area available to beneficial bacteria within your aquarium, meaning increased biological filtration capacity. Depending on the size of the media being used this can be placed/stacked loose within the media basket, or added to the basket in a bag.

Water will be forced through the media on the right of the basket first. *Please ensure that basket 2 is not overfilled with media as this will restrict and slow flow through the remaining filter chamber. For best results use in combination with Fluval Evo Media Basket A & C.

For best results, we advise you to block the small hole in the rear chamber of your Evo aquarium with the provided plug. This can be glued, silicone or secured with putty.

Media Basket C

Media Basket C is designed to increase the capacity of filter media in your rear chamber. As this is the final basket that water flows through before being returned to your display, we would advise that the shelves are used for chemical or mechanical filtration (or both) to provide a final polish of the water before heading back into the tank.

Avoid over-filling to the point that flow is restricted through the rear filter chamber.

For best results, we advise you to block the small hole in the rear chamber of your Evo aquarium with the provided plug. This can be glued, silicone or secured with putty.

All Charterhouse 3D products are printed in-house using PETG plastic, meaning the product is completely aquarium-safe and UV resistant.
